Tuscan-Inspired Home Library Comes Full Circle: A Design Connection, Inc. Featured Project
This detailed two-story library is 360 degrees of style, class and inspiration. Take a spin through the project pics by Overland Park interior designer Arlene Ladegaard of Design Connection, Inc.
While all of my interior design projects are created to suit each individual client, every now and then I come across a whole-home project that truly defines the term “custom built”. Lately I’ve been sharing, room-by-room, details of the designs in our latest project; a Kansas City Tuscan-inspired dream home. Here is the circular two story library and office:
One of two offices, this library is the “Hers” to the “His & Hers” home offices. While creating the curves featured throughout this home was a challenge, constructing the 360 degree library was a triumph for the architect and contractor, Gregg Rothers of Rothers Design/Build.
Smooth curves and detailed designs are repeated throughout this one-of-a-kind home, like the rope-edge panels on the interior doors, bookcases and woodwork, as well as the custom ironwork featured on the handrails, exterior doors, and light fixtures.
Do you like what you see? There’s so much more to this home!!! In addition to having two offices, this home also features two gorgeous kitchens. See the lower level kitchen here:
