Easy Elegance

The new tile fireplace is the showpiece in this room! The tile and height of this fireplace give this space a look all its own – see the before and after photos below. The gorgeous new chairs and jewel-toned ottomans add visual interest to this comfortable, sophisticated seating.

Design Connection, Inc. took the room’s drab and traditional brick hearth to new heights.

We trimmed out the fireplace to the ceiling to add elegance and drama to the living room. This sleek tile in tones of brown, taupe and warm gray pick up the color palette of the room. Slim vases accent the height of this gorgeous showpiece!

Textures Beyond Brick

If you think a fireplace means brick – think again! Tile and stone add both texture and color to a fireplace and make it a focal point of the room.

This recent Design Connection, Inc. project transformed a so-so brick fireplace into a high-impact masterpiece! We refaced the brick hearth in a beautiful stacked stone, adding a variety of textures and colors that compliment the  grays of the walls and tile. So stunning!

Form and Function 

Our clients had grown tired of their light oak fireplace. The mantle felt heavy and dated, and they longed for clean lines, crisp whites and a more contemporary style.

Design Connection, Inc. painted the fireplace frame white, and kept the transitional vibe going with a mosaic tile fireplace surround in a mix of rich blue-gray tones.

Fresh and Stylish Makeover

Design Connection, Inc. turned this trapped-in-time family room into a comfortable, contemporary space.
Painting the beams and walls and installing rich wood floors instantly opened up this room. We took the fireplace from traditional to contemporary by removing the upper brick to make space for a flat-screen television. We painted the hearth white and added a minimalist dark wood mantle for a clean look. The built-in shelving displays artful accessories for an airy and open feel.
